In the summer, everything on the side of the road is covered in kudzu in the southeast. In the spring you can see wisteria vines growing all over trees and abandoned buildings. If you drive by with the windows down, you can get a strong whiff of their purple flowers. When my eyes are watering and my allergies killing me, these purple flowers are a reminder that it’s totally worth it, because warm weather and sunny days are just around the corner.
